All fixed labour charges are based on up to 3 hours labour. If a repair should need more Labour time then an estimate will be provided before any futher work is carried out. 

Any Repair that can be completed without the need for spare parts. will be completed without Estimate and charged at fixed labour.

Fixed price labour:

Domestic Camcorders £80.00 + vat

Digital Still Cameras    £50.00 + vat

(These prices may change with prior notice please confirm labour cost before sending camera for repair)

DKAVS will provide a three month repair warranty from the date of collection. We guarantee all new parts fitted and any work carried out. We can NOT Guarantee the whole product against further unrelated failures.

All Warranty repair costs will be Claimed back from the Manufacturer where a Claim back system exists and if the product is covered by the terms and conditions of the manufacturers guarantee. A copy of the purchase receipt must be provided with all warranty repairs.

Panasonic only) Only products purchased from within the EU that have CE mark on the serial number plate will be accepted for warranty unless a valid 'Limited World Wide Warranty' certificate is produced.

Any warranty claim that is rejected by the manufacturer will be charged to the customer at Fixed labour + Spares
without estimating. 

Any warranty repair found to be damaged by Sand / Liquid /Impact etc will not be covered by Manufacturers Warranty. An estimate will be provided and minimum charges apply.  (Panasonic products will be returned unrepaired at no charge)

(DKAVS will endeavour to complete the repair within 10 days subject to spare parts availabilty. however we cannot Guarantee a completion date.

DKAVS will not accept responsibility for customers data on Hard drive, Memory card or tape. It is the customers responsibility to back up all data before repair. Any illegal footage found will be passed on to the police.
