Most frequent questions and answers

For a small inspection fee, you can send your product to us and we will examine it carefully and provide you with a written Estimate Report. If you then choose to proceed with the repair then this charge is deducted from the final bill.

Estimate reports for Panasonic Compact Cameras and Camcorders are free of charge.

We aim to complete most repairs within a week however we cannot guarantee turnaround times. Due to global supply shortages parts are not always available immediately, we endeavour to repair your product as soon as we can, providing parts are available.

Camera products in the UK have a standard 12 month warranty. For a warranty repair you will be asked to provide a copy of your purchase receipt.

The following types of damage will generally void the manufacturer’s guarantee:

  • Cracked LCD screens
  • Liquid spillage
  • Sand ingress
  • Physical Damage

The camera would need to be thoroughly inspected both internally and externally before a fair estimation of the cost to repair the camera can be established. Once repair charges have been estimated they would be detailed to you in a letter or by email.

This will depend on the fault description we have received. Once we receive the call or a completed online repair form, a senior field engineer will contact you to discuss your product’s fault. The field engineer will endeavour to work out the best route possible to repair your product without causing you inconvenience.

Repairs involving backlight problems will have to be done in a sterile environment in our workshop.

Our highly trained team of expert engineers are able to diagnose the majority of faults received via only the description you have given. Nine times out of ten the engineer will have the correct part ready to repair your set upon arrival at your home.

In the rare cases when this is not correct we will leave the set in your home and order the parts to repair it on our second visit
