Unsure if my camera would be mended under warranty as purchased on internet but no problem whatsoever as had the receipt. Turn around time amazingly fast and the whole process easy and efficient. Had a report with returned camera as to what was mended. Would definitely use again if I have the misfortune of my camera breaking down again.

Took advantage of a Panasonic 5 year warranty promotion 4 years ago on a TZ80 – knowing how much there is to go wrong with these advanced superzoom compacts. Good decision. These guys returned the fixed camera faster than I would have believed possible with an invoice for £0.00. More than a little impressed.
Many thanks to Andy and the team for sorting out an unexpected issue with my 50-200mm. They managed the communication all the way to Japan to give me back one my best performing lenses. One day turnaround is amazing and a few minutes of operation suggest all the (related?) faults have been cured. Only missed the opportunity to bore any of the technicians with stories about trying to make transistors from germanium in the early 60’s or that my wife probably taught their grandparents at Balcombe Rd School! Lumix camera (7 years old but much loved) repaired successfully after electronics malfunction. Very good service and communication throughout; slight glitch re delivering the camera back to me, soon resolved. I recommend these guys.
Whilst the repair was completed and dealt with completely the camera came back covered in scratches which devalues any resale option.
They screwed up first repair of GH4R camera, so it had to be sent back. They then charged me for a new system board, but I discovered they hadn’t replaced the board at all, and their engineer actually lied in writing that they had, until later admitting that wasn’t the case. I’m still waiting for an amended invoice and some form or apology and refund but total silence so far. Have reported the whole matter to Trading Standards and may take court action.

Fault Reported: “focus error”, lens does not retract. On charger, “switch off and start again”, lens extends and retracts on power on/off. Whirring sound from cam body, focus not engaging (?) I sent off my camera by Royal Mail Guaranteed 1pm Delivery at 12:23 on 28/Aug/2018 as suggested. Most surprising was the knock on the door on Saturday 31st and the camera returned, having been stripped down and repaired under the 5 year warranty , with no charge. I had taken almost 4 months to decide to send the camera off, as I believed the focus problem would be dismissed as ‘wear and tear’ or ‘user damage’ after 3 years of solid performance, so was happy and grateful to receive the camera back ready to go again and unexpectedly free of charge.

There was no communication. I was lied to on the phone. The operator said the repair could not be done under warranty because there was no receipt. In fact John Lewis had been asked for proof of purchase and they had provided this but it had not been recorded and work had not been progressed. I was not notified of the cameras return and it was just left on the doorstep.

I was very worried when my FZ82 had a problem with it’s zoom. UK Digital recommended that I contact DKAVS. I went online and found the repair procedure very straight forward and posted my camera as instructed on the website. Within 2 weeks the repair was completed and today, 29th November the camera has been returned carefully packaged and in full working order. Thanks for excellent service.

Never have I ever received such poor customer service. This is the 3rd time Sony have tried to repair our TV and we have now been without it for over 4 weeks. We have had to chase the repairers to find out what is happening and there is still no news. We bought a Sony Oled TV and spent £4000 only for it to stop working within a year. Definitely would not purchase another Sony product.
My Lumix GH5 IBIS was not working as it should. DKAVS repaired it under 5 year Panasonic extended warranty, it’s had a new sensor assembly and now works like new, I’m very happy. I sent the camera on Wednesday, got it back on Saturday morning. Excellent service.

Just received my camera after big repair job ( dropped in sea water ) Communication and service excellent , very happy with the job.
My testimony is not very good, it a frustrated one as I feel I have been deliberately robbed. The first time I sent my camera for repair, I told them what the fault was about adn what needed to be done. The first thing I mentioned was that I could not charge the battery. I also had issues with the software and the battery. The fix the software, I believe they gave me a new battery but they said nothing about the charging issue. I called them and a lady answered the phone after asking me all the details and the issue I had. She told me that I should send it to have a look again. When they received the camera, a day after sent me a bill with an explanation saying that the charger is not included in the insurance. I am happy with that and call to make a payment believing that I was paying for the charger. The persone who took payme also was under the impression that I was paying a charger. When I receive the camera, it was still not working and called them again. The person who took the call apologised for the error and told me to call next day to speak with a supervisor. I offer my self to go to them and fix the issue once and for all. But I received an email saying that I was charged for the transport. No where un the conversation or documentation they said that they were charging me for transport. They hide this info all the time and knowing I was sending the camera again, the never said was the issue was. I sent an email to the supervisor to let him know my thoughts and how disappointed I was and that I wanted to commence proceeding for a formal complaint. Guess what??, I have not received further communication from them. But I want to take this issue further and won’t stop until I have what they owe me. Tottaly disappointed!!!
I sent my Panasonic DMC-TZ70 camera back for repair under warranty. Two main problems being that the zoom would not extend and retract and there was dirt inside the lens. I purchased my Samsung 55 inch 4K TV from John Lewis in December 2016. Over 2 weeks ago i contacted John Lewis as the TV had a dull streak appear on the screen. John Lewis said it’ll be repaired or replaced as it’s under warranty. They referred me to this company ‘DKAVS’. Firstly they didn’t send an engineer out on the day they said. On contacting them they just asked for a photo of the damage which I sent via email and asked I’m the email to be updated immediately but heard nothing. So I rang them and asked for an update, they said they’ll call back later that day….they did not. I phoned them again and asked for an update 2 days later and again they said they’ll call me back…..they didn’t. I’ve had no correspondence from them what so ever. An absolute terrible company and I’ll be urging John Lewis to ditch them. I’m going to make this go viral on both Facebook and Twitter with John Lewis also tagged in it. DKAVS……..you are a disgrace of a company and clearly any good reviews you have are fake!!!! Ps this has been copied and screen shotted so it best appear on your feedback otherwise I’ll be going to offcom. Believe you and me, once I have a bit between my teeth I go after awful companies like yourselves.

Whilst under warranty I expected the usual, “Our technician thinks the only way this could happen is that it was dropped” To my surprise no such problem and the repair was carried out on the same day it was released. I have always used DK AVS for any repairs to my cameras. However I recently sent in my Panasonic SD90 with focus Issues, and apparently the Engineer couldn’t find no fault with the lens? The issue still remains – the problem I’m getting is “Blurry Footage” and I have no idea why I get this, can someone contact me? Above all that I can’t fault the service in general. Thank You!

First experience dire 3mnths after camera sent for repair I fI ally received my refund. Lots of chasing for me and lots lies from then .role forward present day . I get an email saying my camera arrived with them with a cracked and scratched screen ? If they don’t even recognise a screen saver I don’t hold out much hope.As for contact because repair is under insurance it’s not possible to follow repair . Why I wonder ? Absolute Robbers! £25 for inspection and a detailed report….. what I received was a quote of £990 for a new TV (tv that sells for 900 in shop with £90 labour on top! Detailed report consisted of “requires exchange unit” no description of problem! When challenged they sent revised email telling me exactly what I wrote down initially! Replace my Sigma 24-70 DG DN Art within 2 weeks, everything was completely repaired – if anything it’s probably a brand new lens. Lens was returned special delivery, safely packed.
