Q: Why do I get a blank playback picture on my camcorder?
A: This is very commonly caused by a clogged video head, use of a good quality Head cleaning tape may resolve this.

A: This is also very commonly caused by a clogged video head, use of a good quality Head cleaning tape may resolve this.

Q: Whats Wrong? I just recieved my camcorder back from repair and it shows Error Dew!
A: In cold conditions, Please allow your camcorder to warm to room temperature before using.
Q: Why does my camcorder have a black picture (or a strange vertical streaks) on Camera mode?
A: Many camcorders of 2 -4 years ago suffer from common failure of the CCD imager, please contact us for repair.
Q: Can you send me a Quotation for cost of repair?
A: For a small deposit, you can send your product to us and we will inspect it carefully and provide you with a written Estimate Report. If you then choose to proceed with the repair then this charge is deducted from the final bill.
Q: Will my repair be covered by manufacturers warranty?
A: Camera product in the UK has a standard 12 month Warranty. For a warranty repair you will be asked to provide a copy of your purchase receipt. Panasonic warranty will only cover product with CE marking on the Serial number plate.
Damage such as:
Cracked LCD screens / Liquid spillage / Sand ingress / Brocken lens barrels / etc
Will Void the Manufacturers Guarantee.
Q: Why do my photos come out poor quality?
A: There are many settings on a digital camera that can be mis-adjusted. We recommend that you find the menu option to reset factory settings before assuming the camera is faulty.
Q: Why do people in my photo's all have red eyes?
A: this is a standard problem with small cameras using flash up close to faces, The flash relects off the subject's eyes, most cameras have a red eye reduction setting but this will not guarantee red eye free pictures. This is not a camera fault.
Q: Why do I get white circles on some photo's taken with Flash on?

A: This is a common problem with small cameras. Dust particles in the air reflect the flash back at the lens causing circles to appear on photos. This is not a camera fault.
Q: Why is my battery life poor with alkaline batteries
A: Digital cameras require a constant high current supply. Alkaline batteries are unable to provide enough power. Manufacturers recommend using rechargeable NiMH batteries rated at 2100mha or higher for best performance from your camera
Q: Why won't the flash work on my digital camera?
A: Please ensure that the flash is not set off and that you have not selected movie mode
Q: Why are the pictures I take out of focus on my digital camera?
A: Please ensure that you have auto-focus selected and have not selected Macro mode
Q: Why are my pictures dark even when I use Flash?
A: The Flash on most pocket cameras will only operate up to about 2 metres from the subject. Flash is ineffective in large areas. This is not a fault. Try using slow shutter speeds and flash off.
Q: Why does the battery go flat if I leave my camera un-used for long periods?
A: Batteries will drain after being left for several weeks. Manufacturers recommend that you remove the battery from the camera when it is un-used for long periods.
Q: Why won't some of my pictures display on my digital camera?
A: If you connect your camera to a computer or have placed your SD card into a PC card reader and then edited any of your pictures on the PC this can cause them to no longer display on your camera.
Always make copies of your pictures and save them on the PC before Editing, Only edit your copied pictures not the originals.
Only keep original unedited pictures on the SD card.
Do not rename any files or folders on your SD card.
Q: Why won't some SD Cards work in my camera?
A: Some older cameras will not accept latest SD cards marked with HC (High Capacity). All cards Larger than 2Gb are HC cards. Please check if there is SD HC logo marked on the camera near the card slot.
